My Goal
The goal of this website portfolio is to showcase the skills I have gained through both academic and work experiences that will support my pursuit of a career as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) specialist following the completion of my undergraduate degree. This website will serve as a platform to present a professional resumé, highlight relevant academic achievements and projects, particularly those grounded in sociological theory, and strengthen my web development skills.
Moreover, it will provide a centralized, accessible, and easy-to-read space where potential employers and collaborators can comprehensively understand my qualifications, values, achievements, and commitment to DEI work. It is important to highlight the work I have done throughout my undergraduate degree, as I believe that showcasing academic examples and real-world applications of my learning is far more impactful than simply stating my capabilities.

This image was taken on a morning walk on the traditional territory of the Songhees people (Swan Lake). It was an important hunting and gathering area for the Songhees people, with multiple arrowheads being found in the nearby fields and hillsides throughout the years (Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary, n.d.)
